Listed for its charm and authenticity, the English garden is home to a majestic bicentenary cedarsymbolising the link between past and present.

On the 14 hectares of parklandThe contemporary fittings blend harmoniously into the continuity of the site's history.
Originally conceived by Mrs OberkampfThis garden is a perfect illustration of the spirit of the English landscape style, where nature reclaims its rights to create a green and poetic setting.

WORKS OF ART

Headquarters Cartier Foundation from 1984 to 1993, the Domaine du Montcel has always had a special relationship with the world of art. As early as 1795, when Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf became the owner, he infused it with the creative spirit of the Toiles de Jouy factory which he headed at the time.

This artistic and cultural heritage lives on today in the Dolce Versailleswhere emblematic motifs of Toiles de Jouy and a the work of impressionist painter Corot adorn the walls.
In the gardens, two monumental contemporary sculptures are a vivid reminder that art remains at the heart of the Domaine du Montcela dialogue between nature, history and creation.
