The Domaine du Montcel has been steeped in culture since its origins and has always been a place of artistic inspiration. The Dolce by Wyndham Versailles The interior design is a skilful blend of traditional French charm and a touch of contemporary refinement. All the interior design work was entrusted to the FID group of architects, headed by Sébastien Flamant.
The accommodation is furnished with attention to detail, combining luxurious fabrics, wood materials, elegant furniture and delicate splashes of colour. Designed by interior architect Sébastien Flamant and contemporary artist Elodie Lefèvre, the decor is inspired by the Toile de Jouy motifs created by Oberkampf and the paintings of Corot, reflecting the estate's heritage subtly integrated with a modern aesthetic. The result is a timeless, elegant atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The common areas offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with noble materials and wooden elements. At the reception, in the lobby or in the restaurant and reception areas, other original creations have been created by contemporary artists Michaël Cailloux and Louise Frydman. Jean-Pierre Raynaud's ceramic fireplace has also been rebuilt.
The décor at the Spa du Montcel Sothys, designed by interior architect Sébastien Flamant and contemporary artist Elodie Lefèvre, is soothing and authentic. A reminder of the history of the Toile de Jouy, extracts from which can be seen from the reception area, where an agamograph is displayed, to the indoor pool, where the mosaic mural depicts a waterfall plunging directly into the water.
